Why the stupid hurts (live report from Sesame Street)

For it's painfully remarkable how a 'serious'* scientist 'tests' his pretty little model of voting society up to n=9 and then starts screaming "Eureka!!!" - essentially leaving mass media hypnotised by what's maybe just the stochastic equivalent to a (giantly overcomplicated) coin toss -, next vehemently insists there was nothing at all wrong with his interpretation; Ernie categorically denying he had bananas in his ears all along...

Implying "fourty years" of data is actually very impressive here; now that's objectively professionally ironically funny!

Too bad by now I'm far too sad, not in the least from the probably wellsalaried marvellous madness of this loony 'professor' boldly exclaiming he's going to 'fix' his current model in order to have a freshly untested one next election cycle, to really enjoy such a beautifull thing..

"Lichtman's bad week"?! Yeah, right!!

A seemingly absolutely underchecked scientific demise of its own device, which - I think - also gives a nice little paradoxical twist to: https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-024-03723-5

* Allan Lichtman is a historian 'scientist', which explains a lot; coincidentally, here at De Nietsontziende we've recently constructed a retrospective model quite precisely predicting the cumulative social worth of Lichtman's intellectual product during his 51 yrs of professorship and per the dozens or so books he has (allegedly) written, probably (a 99 percent chance, clearly indicated by simply sucking our own thumbs for a while) at least adding up - negatively - to the full ecological impact of all the trees that fell for its publication.
